LINCOLN ROCK STATE PARK, Wenatchee, WA - The park has 27 tent spaces, 67 utility spaces, one dump site, five restrooms (one ADA) and 14 showers (three ADA). There are 32 full hookup utility sites and 35 have electricity and water. Maximum site length is 65 feet (may have limited availability). Tents must be placed on designated tent pads. This is a beautiful spot on the Columbia River with huge sites with lots of room between sites so you are not sitting on top of your neighbour. If you want the space of a State Park with the amenities of a private campground then check out this park. We were impressed enough to add it to our favourite rv park list.

BURNABY CARIBOO RV PARK, Burnaby, BC- location, location, location. This park is the closest to Vancouver and has easy access to public transportation, tours from the park and is one of the highest rated in BC. They have a huge Club house with activities, indoor pool and hot tub. Maintenance is immaculate and the staff are very helpful and friendly. For more info click here.

RIPPLE ROCK RV PARK, Campbell River, British Columbia - a very clean, built for motor homes park. All sites are drive in with a fantastic view of the Straight of Georgia. Watch the Cruise ships as they sail to Alaska. This park has a very nice Club House with hot tub overlooking the ocean. Very well maintained and a thorough joy to visit

DESERT LAKE RV RESORT, Oliver, BC-This is a relatively new park right on the lake. The sites are large enough to give you room to put out your canopy and enjoy the lake view no matter where you park. They have pull throughs that can accommodate the biggest rig, but the park is small enough that if you want quiet this is the place to come. SURFSIDE RESORT, Parksville, BC- A highley rated park on Vancouver Island. This is a membership park that accepts overnighters and is definitely worth a stop at. Right on the ocean, they have a huge club house with planned activities, an outdoor gas firepit, pool and hot tub. Large well maintained sites and very nice.

KOA, Revelstoke, BC- when you travel in an RV in BC one of the things you notice along Hwy 1 is a lot of the RV Parks are very close to train tracks. This park in Revelstoke is quiet.  Nicely maintained as you would expect from KOA and they have large sites with lots of shade for those hot summer days.

FAIRMONT HOT SPRINGS RESORT, Fairmont, BC- Mineral pools to soak away tired muscles and ache and pains. That is what this park is known for. Large sites, full hookups and right on the grounds with the hot pools and a major hotel. Relax in the large sites or walk over to the hotel for fine dining or entertainment in the lounge. This park is definitely one of our favorites.

Calgary West RV Park, Calgary, AB- Just on the west side of Calgary, right on Hwy 1, this park has large sites and lots of activities. They have shuttles to the Calgary Stampede right from the park. Pool and very clean restrooms. If Calgary is on your list of travels then this is the place to stay. In our opinion this is one of the nicest parks in the area.

Golden Village Palms, Hemet, CA- We have been snowbirds for quite sometime and this was one of our favorites to spend the winter in. A first class park with facilities that can only be found in a 5 Star park. Huge clubhouse, billard room, ball room and more activities than you can do. Many very reasonable golf courses very close to the park. Three pools, three hot tubs and live entertainment and dancing on a regular basis. One of Karen's favorite activities was the water volleyball and this park is known for their waterball pool. If you are heading south for the winter or just for a vacation this park is the one to use as a base. Only a short drive to Palm Springs, San Diego and LA. You are in the center of all the action.

Sam's Town, Las Vegas, NV- Taking your RV to Vegas then Sam's town is the place to go. A super clean and well maintained RV park right next to the hotel and casino. They have pools and hot tubs in the park and the sites are large enough for any size rig. Located on Boulder Hwy you are away from the hustle and bustle of the strip, but easily drive or take the hotel shuttle to the action of the strip. Another short jaunt is Fremont Street with their unbelievable light show. Going to Vegas then make sure to stay at Sam's Town.

Waltons Lakefront Resort, Osoyoos, BC - The sites are large and paved with manicured grass and full hookups with 30 and 50 AMP service, water, sewer, cable and wireless internet. They have a swimming pool, hot tub and are right on Osoyoos Lake for boating, swimming and watersports. There is a large lounge for entertaining guests and a pool table to enjoy in the evenings. They have an outdoor patio with BBQ for group functions or just for RV'ers to use as a gathering spot for socializing.Maintenance is excellent and they have a two hour window from check out to check in to ensure all the sites are clean, tidy and ready to use when you check in.All the facilities are new and so are all the sites. This has been an RV Park for many years, but now they have totally re-done the whole thing. They are selling lots in the park, but it is only for RV's as I saw no park models at all.The rental pool is large and we had no trouble getting in for a week in August.
